SMS Program Consent, ANNOVA LLC

Effective date: August 11, 2026 · Contact: davis@annova.io

ANNOVA LLC operates an AI phone receptionist for local home-services businesses (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and similar trades). This page documents the SMS program, exactly how a customer consents to receive text messages, and how to stop them. It is the call-to-action and consent reference for our A2P 10DLC messaging campaign.

Program description

When a customer calls a business that uses our service to book a service appointment, our agent sends appointment-related text messages to the mobile number the customer provides. These are transactional messages tied to that customer’s own booking. We do not send marketing broadcasts, and we never text people who did not call in and consent on the call.

How customers opt in (the single consent method)

Consent is obtained one way only: verbally, on the recorded inbound phone call, at the time the customer books. There is no web form, no keyword opt-in, and no purchased list.

The complete consent method

The customer calls the business’s published phone number and asks to book a service visit. During booking, the customer provides their own mobile number as the number to receive texts, and the agent reads the number back to confirm it. The agent states, in plain language, that a confirmation text and appointment reminders will be sent to that number, and that the customer can reply STOP at any time to opt out. The customer verbally agrees to receive those texts. This express consent is captured on the recorded call and logged in our CRM against the customer’s contact record, with the call timestamp and the mobile number provided. Only customers who call in and verbally agree on that recorded call are ever messaged.

Exact verbal script used on the call

“You’re all set for [time]. You’ll get a confirmation text at this number shortly, plus appointment reminders. Reply STOP anytime to opt out.”

Message types

Appointment-related messages only: appointment confirmations, reminders, follow-ups, and occasional review requests. No marketing or promotional content.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies per booking, based on the customer’s own appointment activity.

Rates

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

How to stop or get help

Opt out: Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed and no further messages unless you opt in again. Help: Reply HELP for assistance, or email davis@annova.io.
